Christmas at Our House

It's beginning to look a bit like Christmas here at Winn Farm.

This is my old stocking...still hung with care every year since...hmmm...1947? No...can't be that old!

Never worry about the size of your Christmas tree.  In the eyes of children, they are all 30 feet tall.  ~Larry Wilde

I wish we could put up some of the Christmas spirit in jars and open a jar of it every month.  ~Harlan Miller
I have always loved this little Steiff deer. It was a gift from my  Aunt Eunice when I was a child...now finds its home amid the evergreens on our mantel.

Well, now it’s off to school. Tonight my goal will be to spend less time visiting my favorite blogs and more time dealing with the piles of cards to write and gifts to wrap. Does anyone else wish the days were a little longer this time of year?
