Paperwhites

The storm has ended here in Maine and the sun was out...a good morning for potting up the paperwhites I received for Christmas...
...in a favorite old piece of McCoy pottery.

Last year's paperwhites in the dining room window...

“Under the cloak of winter lies a miracle ... a seed waiting to sprout, a bulb opening to the light, a bud straining to unfurl.  And the anticipation nurtures our dream."  ~B. Winkler

Thank you for a wonderful day yesterday. It is always fun to get together with you...as we many times have to admit...we don't get much done but we have fun. This blog is such a wonderful tribute to Nancy...she was such a larger than life person that had a wonderful talent for keeping everyone in a room enthralled and laughing. Thank you for sharing some of her craft paints with me. I am sure my students will love using them and I will think of her and the many things she did with her students. As usual your house is picture book perfect and always warm and welcoming.
Love to you and your family.
Sandy
