On the bottom, the pitcher is marked "Hull USA B29".
Among my antique books I had an older (1999) book about Hull pottery and pulled it out to see if I could find my little pitcher...
and there it was, shown in blue, on page 41.
I learned that my pitcher was made at the Hull factory in Crooksville, Ohio in about 1940. It was part of Hull's Nu-line Bak-Serve line. These utilitarian pieces were made in many colors, including yellow, pink, blue, aqua and my peach. The biggest surprise was that my pitcher had a 1999 book value of between $135.00 and 175.00!
When I started this post I was inspired by Junker Newbie's "Would you Buy It Wednesday" party, but I already know that I would buy my little pitcher again. Not only was it a great deal, but I love how it looks in my living room filled with dried roses. Don't you just love a bargain?
If anyone reading this collects Hull pottery, I'd love to hear more about it from you.
Happy treasure hunting!

Wow, that is wonderful! I'm not sure I would have picked it up but that's because I don't yet know much about pottery. Great job!
Thanks for linking up at my party :-)

You cannot go wrong with Hull or McCoy.
I do indeed and that is a beaut! Good job! That is a Hull I have never seen and probably would never have believed it until you showed the label! Great find!

What a great find! I do collect Hull, though I guess I don't know as much about it as I should! I haven't seen anything like your little pitcher! My pieces are mostly from the wildflower or water lily pattern.
Congrats on your new treasure!
Best Wishes and Blessings,
Amanda

I love this pitcher! I have one Hull teapot and it's really old and well loved (ie in chippy condition) but I love it! So yes I would have bought this pitcher for $12~~~ I'm always on the lookout for pottery and don't often see Hull but I do love it. hugs, Linda
I would not have bought the pitcher only because the color does not go with anything I have in my home. However, you found a great item and it looks like it's in "mint" condition! Lesa
Great find - I only have a couple of pieces of Hull. My friend has a huge collection.

I own this exact pitcher, the only thing I have of my grandmother Pearl Moxley who lived in Charleston, MO. She had 9 children, 25 grandchildren and upteen great grandchildren upon her death. I've owned the pitcher for many years now, but I remember it being in my grandmother's home always (since I was a little girl ). I'm glad I Googled it. Thank you.
